Here's what to expect

Each commission is a deeply collaborative process, resulting in a bespoke piece designed to become an heirloom centrepiece.

Step 1: Initial Consultation

Complete my Commission Request Form to share your vision and preferences. This helps me understand your creative brief in depth, from colour palettes to the space your artwork will inhabit.

Step 2: Tailored Proposal

Within 5 business days, I'll respond with a detailed proposal including timeline and your custom quote. We'll discuss any questions and refine the vision together.

Step 3: Securing Your Commission

Once you approve the proposal, a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed agreement secures your spot in my commission queue. This ensures I can dedicate the time and materials to your bespoke creation.

Step 4: Creation & Progress Updates

Your painting comes to life over 4-6 weeks (depending on size and complexity). I'll share progress photos at key stages, so you're part of the creative journey every step of the way.

Step 5: Reveal & Approval

Once completed, you'll receive images of the finished artwork for your approval. This is your opportunity to ensure the piece aligns perfectly with your vision.

Step 6: Final Payment & Delivery

Upon final approval, the remaining 50% balance and shipping fee are due. Your artwork is then professionally packaged and shipped insured.

Frequently Asked Questions

How involved will I be in the creative process?

As involved as you'd like to be! Some collectors prefer to share their vision and trust me completely, while others love seeing progress updates and providing feedback at key stages. I'll adapt to your preferred level of collaboration.

What if I'm not sure exactly what I want?

That's completely normal, and part of what makes the process so enjoyable. Through our initial consultation, I'll ask guiding questions about your space, colour preferences, and the feeling you want the artwork to evoke. Together, we'll curate your vision.

Can I see the work in progress?

Absolutely. Based on your preference, I'll share progress photos at key milestones throughout the creation process, so you're never left wondering. You'll see your painting evolve from initial layers to the finished piece.

Can I commission a painting as a gift?

Absolutely! Many of my commissions have been thoughtful gifts. I can work with you discreetly and ensure timely delivery, just make sure you reach out well in advance!

For Christmas delivery, please enquire by Early November.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible. I recommend enquiring 3 months in advance to ensure availability on my waitlist and enough time to create a handmade, bespoke painting.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Absolutely! I've shipped paintings all across Australia. All shipments are insured.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes! Internationally I recommend rolled canvas shipping for safe transit. However if you prefer stretched canvas shipping, feel free to let me know in your enquiry. All shipments are insured.
